OUTREACH COMMITTEE The 2006 STNC Outreach Committee conducted their first meeting on Saturday, February 4th, 2006, at Joselito's West. The group discussed a variety of issues and coming events, including a bi-monthly Farmers Market produced by The Foothills Paper and the coming groundbreaking at the old Ford property at Foothill and Commerce. The discussions at the meeting were lively and informative. Through it all this year's committee will focus itself on creating and utilizing a community-wide network coordinating efforts through district representatives, group representatives and community stakeholders. The goal is to engage the Sunland-Tujunga community in positive action, keep the community informed about important issues, and to hear the voice of the community so it can guide decisions made by STNC. To be effective, the Outreach Committee needs your involvement.
